Photography has always been my way to escape and be me.  It has allowed me to put my personal spin on the world and how I see it.

It would be an honor for me to share my visions and my work that I have accomplished over the years with you, as well as some helpful guidance for beginner photographers.

Thank you for taking the time to come visit.

Stress-Free Through Photography

What is LenzTherapy?  That is a great question.  Everyone has their own way of expressing themselves and relieving stress.  Looking back through the years I have found that when life puts me in the spin cycle, and I begin to lose focus on what really matters in life, grabbing my camera and finding a peaceful destination can set me straight again.

I remember back in high school when I first started taking pictures of anything I could find and then running home to my darkroom in my bathroom so I could develop my negatives to see what I was able to capture.  I will tell you, although that was an amazing time, I am extremely happy that we are in the digital age.

My background in photography started when I decided that if I was going to be a photographer I needed to find a job doing photography, so I found a Lifetouch Studio and I asked, "What is the hardest position you have?" in which I was immediately told Preschool Photography.  So I said,  great I will take it.  No one thought I would be able to do it, but I rocked at it.  So much so, that one of my first ever photography ventures was a Preschool Photography business "KinderFlash".  From there I became a Studio Manager for JCPenny's and then on to open my first studio in California.  In the studio, I began taking Modeling & Acting  Portfolios, Headshots, Family Portraits, and Weddings.

I moved to Idaho in 2008 and began photographing preschools once again and then moved on to a full-service multi-media and photography business in downtown Boise with a business called YellowBox Studios.  I spent several great years running a business with some very talented individuals that taught me a lot.

Today, I enjoy all of those types of photography but have fallen in love with Nature and Landscape Photography.  Getting out into the world and finding wonderful scenic views to capture and create images that bring me happiness and joy.

It is now my pleasure to be able to share my work with you, and if I can help to inspire the photographer/artist in you.  We all have a story to tell, why not do it with images.  I invite you to share your journeys with me as I share mine with you.

Happy Snapping
