Full-Circle Moments: A Nostalgic Portrait Session with Arianna

A Connection Years in the Making

I first met Arianna when she was just five years old, the same age as my daughter. Her mother and I worked together at JCPenney Portrait Studio, capturing family milestones and cherishing the power of portrait photography. Little did I know that years later, I’d be stepping back into wedding and portrait photography alongside my now 22-year-old daughter, only to find that Arianna, also 22, would be one of my first sessions.

Fast-forward to today. Arianna is living in Las Vegas and reached out to capture some special portraits, originally planned with her boyfriend. When scheduling the shoot, I coordinated with her mother, who generously brought up some of her own lighting equipment—just like old times.

A Portable Studio, A Beautiful Session

Despite the change in plans with her boyfriend unable to attend, we didn’t let that stop us. Instead, this became a fun, relaxed, and creative solo session, focusing entirely on Arianna’s beauty, confidence, and energy. With a mix of soft, elegant lighting and bold, artistic compositions, we captured a collection of portraits that genuinely showcase her personality.

From classic close-ups to vibrant, expressive shots, this session reminded me why I love photography—it’s about connection, creativity, and freezing moments in time that will be cherished forever.
